Terms of Service

Effective 26 October 2026

1. These terms

These terms apply to Cheatcut, the managed video editing service at cheatcut.pro. An accepted quote or order may add terms and takes priority where it conflicts.

2. Plans, credits and payment

A monthly plan is required before buying extra credits. Credit packages are charged at the checkout amount; each edit uses a fixed credit quote that you accept before work starts. Reserved credits are charged after successful delivery and released after failure or cancellation. Existing balances and past purchases remain valid. Your checkout and payment-provider receipt record the agreed charge. You can cancel future renewals from your account; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

3. Source footage and revisions

Source footage is kept privately while you revise your edit, within the raw-footage storage allowance of your plan. We delete the original, with its preview copy and analysis, when you approve the final edit, or when your edit closes automatically 24 hours after its final render; after that the video can no longer be revised, and its final video stays available to download. An open quote, queued edit or running edit of the same footage keeps your edit open; a revision that fails or is cancelled starts a new 24-hour window. Unused uploads are removed after 24 hours, and footage whose edits all failed or were cancelled is kept for 72 hours for a retry. The export and saved project remain available until you remove the edit. Keep your own copy of the original footage. Uploads can resume in parts if your connection is interrupted, subject to available processing capacity.

4. Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate instructions and lawful materials you have the right to use, protect your credentials and follow our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Availability and liability

No internet service is uninterrupted or risk-free, and at busy times edits wait in line before they start. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded; subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.

6. Governing law

Unless an accepted order says otherwise, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and its courts have jurisdiction.
